Introduction:

Sharif precision industrial equipment design, manufacturing, and test technology services office (Sharif Fan) as a research unit has been established at the Sharif technology services complex of the Sharif University of Technology (SUT) for providing; various technical, consulting, and executive services in precision design, development, manufacturing, and assembly of industrial components and assemblies with precise requirements (e.g. tight tolerances) and complex operating conditions (e.g. high temperature and pressure), in addition, design and manufacturing of facilities for executing the physical and/or computer simulations of mechanical tests based on technical standards.

Expertise& Abilities:

1) Design and development, manufacturing, and assembly of industry components with high precision specifications (with tight tolerances) and under restrictive conditions (e.g. high temperature and pressure)

2) Design and manufacturing of facilities for mechanical tests of industrial parts and equipment under complex mechanical conditions

3) Performance evaluation of industrial parts and equipment through computer simulation of mechanical tests based on technical standards

Products &Services:

  • Design, manufacturing, and testing of premium threaded connections under high pressure and temperature conditions.
  • Design and manufacturing of high-precision printing systems (smart card printers, 3D printers, etc.)
  • Design, manufacturing, and assembly of high precision and power industrial systems (e.g. industrial gearboxes with zero-backlash)
  • Design and manufacturing of facilities for mechanical tests of industrial parts and equipment under complex mechanical conditions (e.g. ISO 13679 CAL IV test rig)
  • Tolerance design of precise industrial assemblies and mechanisms (e.g. car central locking system, etc.)
  • Computer simulation of mechanical tests based on standards for evaluation of the performance of industrial parts and equipment under complex conditions
